1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using PrayerPact (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. PrayerPact is operated by PrayerPact, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PrayerPact. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of PrayerPact, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Each person may maintain only one account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

PrayerPact offers two subscription tiers:

Plus: $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year
Ultra: $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year

New users are eligible for a 14-day free trial of the Ultra subscription. A valid credit card is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee and your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply upon renewal.

5. Content Ownership and License

All prayers, Bible verses, quests, blessings, and other content provided within PrayerPact are either owned by PrayerPact, Inc., licensed to us, or are in the public domain. Your personal journal entries and user-generated content remain your property.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App content solely for your personal, non-commercial use within the App. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the App without our prior written permission.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App
Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the app blocking features
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the App
Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App
Share your account credentials with others or maintain multiple accounts

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Ultra subscribers have access to AI-powered features that generate personalized prayers, blessings, and spiritual insights. This AI-generated content is provided for spiritual encouragement and reflection purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, pastoral care, or medical advice. AI responses may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. You should use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for serious personal, spiritual, or mental health concerns.

8. Screen Time API and App Blocking

PrayerPact uses Apple's Screen Time API to block selected apps on your device. The behavior and effectiveness of app blocking depend on your iOS version and device settings. Apple may change the Screen Time API functionality at any time. We are not responsible for any changes Apple makes to the Screen Time framework that may affect the App's blocking capabilities. Blocked app information never leaves your device and is protected by Apple's privacy requirements.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAYERPACT, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS; (C) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF THE APP; OR (D) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.
